Hostage Tape Return & Refund Policy

At Hostage Tape, we aim to provide a fair and transparent return process while maintaining clear standards due to the nature of our products.


1. Return Eligibility

This policy applies only to products purchased directly from Hostage Tape.

  • Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery
  • Requests submitted after this period will not be accepted

Due to the nature of our products:

  • Your first opened 30-day pouch does not need to be returned
  • Any additional pouches must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging to qualify for a return

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.


2. Subscription Orders

  • Subscriptions may be canceled at any time
  • If an order has already been processed or shipped, cancellation will apply to future orders only

If you wish to receive a refund for an order that has already been processed or delivered:

  • the product must be returned in accordance with this policy
  • all return eligibility conditions must be met

Refunds will not be issued:

  • if the product is not returned
  • if returned items do not meet the eligibility requirements

Customers are responsible for managing their subscription and submitting cancellation requests in a timely manner to avoid unwanted charges.


3. Return Authorization (RMA Required)

All returns must be approved in advance.

  • To initiate a return, contact Help@hostagetape.com within the 30-day return window
  • Include your order number and reason for return
  • Our support team will issue a Return Authorization (RMA) if the request is approved

Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused or not refunded.


4. Refunds & Exchanges

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method after returned items are received and inspected
  • Processing time: 5–10 business days after inspection
  • Exchanges are subject to product availability

To qualify for a refund:

  • returned items must meet all eligibility conditions
  • all applicable items from the original shipment must be returned

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refund:

  • Products that are opened or used beyond the allowed conditions
  • Items that do not meet return eligibility requirements
  • Subscription orders where the product is not returned
  • Partial returns that do not include all applicable items from the original shipment
  • Shipping charges (including original and return shipping, unless otherwise stated)
  • Gift cards or vouchers

6. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item:

  • Contact us at Help@hostagetape.com as soon as possible
  • We may request photo evidence or additional information

Upon verification, we will provide a replacement or refund at our discretion.


7. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective item
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method

8. Refused Deliveries & Chargebacks

  • Orders that are refused at delivery or returned without authorization may be subject to restocking or shipping fees
  • Filing a chargeback without first contacting our support team may delay or void resolution eligibility

9. General Conditions

We reserve the right to:

  • refuse returns that do not meet policy conditions
  • limit or deny refunds in cases of abuse, misuse, or fraudulent activity
