How to Apply Hostage Nose Strips

Start with a clean, dry nose. Peel the backing off the strip, then center it across the bridge of your nose. These are the application steps shown in Hostage Nose Strips’ product instructions.

1. Wash and dry the bridge of your nose

Before applying a strip, wash and dry the bridge of your nose. The product’s illustrated guide begins with this preparation step; the packaging also says to make sure your nose is clean and dry before application.

Keep the package instructions nearby as you get started. Use the directions supplied with your product if they differ from the instructions described here.

2. Peel off the backing

Remove the strip’s backing to expose the adhesive side. This is the next application step on the Hostage Nose Strip packaging.

Before placing the strip, look at the placement illustration on the Hostage Nose Strips product page. It shows the strip centered on the outside of the nose.

3. Center the strip across the bridge

Apply the strip across the bridge of your nose, following the positioning shown in the product guide. The illustrated directions say to center the strip across the bridge; the packaging describes placement across the bridge of the nose and nostrils.

The illustration is useful for checking which area the directions mean. If you are unsure how the strip should sit on your nose, contact the support team with your product question rather than relying on instructions for a different product.
